Caith flew out and pinned the nymph-like fledging to the wall before she could even move. Her prey that she had been stalking seemed unknowing as he continued to his room. Caith's dark eyes watched as the boy walked off to safety not knowing that his life had been saved by the thing his students hated the most. Him.
Sinead froze immediatly when Caith's hand tightened around her throat. She stared up at him nervously her body tense against the cold wall. She tried to get her words all lined up. An explanaition as to why she was here. Her usually emerald eyes were crimson with hunger and blood lust.
Finally Caith's fury filled eyes focussed on his fledgeling and he sneered in anger. Sinead gasped softly and bit her bottomlip. "Caith he's here. I came to w-" "You're in my school..." She dropped her eyes quickly. She knew that one was coming.
"Caith I know. I was just hu-" "I don't care what you were. This was forbidden territory to you!" Caith hissed then grabbed her wrist and started dragging her down away from the hallways. Away from his students. Sinead whimpered as she struggled along after him. It was useless getting free now. He was gonna punish her. Lock her in a cellar and throw away the key.
He might even kill her. Oh Michael. She had just met Michael and now she was never gonna see him again. Never touch his skin or taste his kisses. She glanced over her shoulder and stumbled down the stairs. Caith turned to her sharply and scooped her into his arms. Sinead lay her head meekly against his chest shivering at thoughts of Michael. If she was going to die he would lead her into it. His touch would make her smile at the end. His kiss would be the last thing she would remember tasting.
Caith let her drop from his arms when they were in the foyer. She hit the ground with an omph and glared up at him. She bet he never dropped any of his students like this. She watched as Caith lifted his wrist to his bite into it then beckoned her closer holding out his wrist for her to come and drink. Sin's eyes fixed on him in confusion and she shoke her head. "You said you were hungry..." "But I disobeyed you. Thats how Elias rewards." "I'm not Elias. I'm not the Dragon, Dray. I am your Sire and you are my fledgeling. Come drink."
Sin moved forwards and toke his wrist gingerly then started to drink from him. She moaned as his blood filled her mouth. It tasted like comfort. Images of old times filled her head. She could hear Caith moan too. Caith fell to her knees beside her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders as she drank from him. He didn't hear anything else. He was drifting in pleasure and bliss. He didn't know that someone had joined them. He needed to keep Sinead hidden. He needed to keep her safe and looked after even if she was his brutal little killer. She was still his fledgeling and he loved her just like he loved all his other fledgeling. He burried his head in her bronze curls and gave a soft hiss at the scent of humans in her hair.

He whispered softly through her constant whimperings. As she nodded in understanding and agreement, he released her and watched as she ran through the hallways. His scent was upon her now, and the other vampires patroling the halls would see that she had already been spoken to. Nodding his head, he stepped from his hiding place, and made his way out of the school. He knew that Caith would smell her upon him, because he had just saved her life earlier this night. His hair was still slightly damp from the plunge he had taken in the lake, and he knew that he didn't look as healthy as he normally did. Blayce refused to drink from the humans, and because of that, he didn't have all of his strength now. He was hungry, but he would never stoop to that level. He got his blood from animals and blood banks, never taking a fresh source. But his supply was running low, and he hadn't made it back to his room before being summoned. But what he didn't know was that he was about to walk into something that would change his life forever. Taking another deep breath to calm himself, he stepped out into the cold night air and approached the foyer of the coven. His hand went silently to the handle, and he pulled it quietly open, making no sound whatsoever. But his eyes were greeted with something that he would never see. His father, his sire...was kneeling upon the floor, holding a slim brunette in his arms. And she was sucking his blood...drinking hungrily from his wrist as if it was nothing. Blayce stumbled backwards and out of the room, shocked and apalled and completely confused on what he had just seen. He had to get out of here. He didn't know if Caith realized what had just happened, but it didn't matter. He needed to get far away from this place...he needed to escape this nightmare that was his neverending life. Shaking his head, he allowed the door to slam shut behind him, and then stumbled in the deep snow that had recently piled up. So what if Caith heard. He didn't care. Caith never let anyone drink from him...only if they were his children. Blayce had been offered, but he had always refused. He felt as if he was going to be sick. He stepped off the path and disappeared into the woods for a moment, trying to regain his wits about him. What had he just witnessed?[/ul][/blockquote]

Sinead gave a cry and pulled back from Caith's wrist her eyes turned sharply to the door. Caith on the other hand kept his head burried in Sinead's hair. He wanted to turn back time right now. Feeling Blayce's distress as to what he had just witnessed made him feel like he had just betrayed his child. He had picked a favourite or worse... He had lied. Blayce meant everthing to Caith. He could feel his son running. He could feel his mind drift futher away. Caith grinded his teeth slowly against each other.
"Who was that? Was it one of your coven? He's beautiful Caith. Can I meet him?" Sinead's soft clear voice made Caith get a hold of himself and he pulled his face from her hair. He stroked a hand gently across her hair and looked into her crimson eyes smiling gently. "Crawl into the corner little nymph and hide for me till I return. You may meet him soon but for now you must hide. "
He kissed her brow and got to his feet to persue his son. He could hear Sinead obey his order. It made him want the same from Blayce. Blayce was the rebel. Hopes of his obedience should have been abandoned ages ago. He wished he could put Blayce down. Kill him and be done with it but Caith would be killing himself then. He opened the door and sniffed at the air. His eyes dropped to the ground where he saw his son's footsteps in the snow. The Sire let himself crouch down to touch at the soft snow around the foot print before he darted off into the night after Blayce.
He captured Blayce's mind with his own making his pressence known. ~Stop and face me coward son of mine. Stop running.~ He demaned in Blayce's mind then cut into the woods picking up speed so his was greater as he ran. How he missed hunting like this. Hunting wild animals like some kind of mountain lion. Sure the blood was almost always distasted with adrenaline but atleast it satisfied the killer instinct. Sometimes working on raw instinct instead of manipulation was a much much better thrill.
He darted into his son's path and waited for Blayce to catch up with him. She was with him again. His nose wrinkled as he caught Coralie's scent mingled like a dancer with his. It insantly brought anger into his veins. "BLAYCE!!! You were with HER again!" He screamed out in fury glaring straight ahead of him.

He yelled to no one in particular, wishing that Caith would oblige for once. Even though he was ordered to stop running, Blayce didn't obey. He was not being a coward, he was working off his anger in a way that was safe to him and safe to the humans of the school. He was confused and distressed, and most of all, abused with this all. This life was nothing that he wanted, and when he thought he could go to his father with something so sacred to him as his love for another, it was thrown in his face. Granted, she was human, but so what. Blayce was human once as well, and that had been ripped from him. Why couldn't he have this now? Shaking his head, he continued his quickened walk, wanting to put as much distance between himself and his sire as he possibly could. What would Caith tell him? What could Caith possibly say to make him feel like this entire situation was alright? How could he ever feel like he could trust him again? Blayce's trust was fragile enough as it was, and Caith knew that. Caith knew the background the young man came from. So when he put his trust and his faith in Caith, he wanted to be able to keep it there. But now it was obvious he was losing this fight as well. He was tried of fighting with Caith, and he was tired of losing because he didn't have the heart or the want to try. His father was supposed to be the victor, and he never argued with that. But enough was enough. He had reached his breaking point with this entire situation. Shaking his head in obvious disbelief, he continued walking even when he sensed Caith in front of him. He didn't bring his eyes to look at him as he stormed by him, trying to grasp the reality laid out before him. Taking a deep breath, he exhaled softly and brushed by his father, his hurt and his disbelief, and his anger apparent to the one who knew him the best. He kept walking until he heard the shout of anger from his sire, and then he froze in place, tightening his hands into fists, and clenching his jaw in his fury. "You have no right. You have no right to turn this around on me!" He yelled viciously, turning so that he was now facing his father. He pointed to the foyer and their coven, not knowing what else to do. "What was that!? That...I...what is going on? I've always been honest with you, even though I know it won't matter what I say or what I do. You'll always be disappointed in me and I accept that. But I've never lied to you. And now you stand here before me, turning the subject onto me and Coralie, when...that?" He finished in disbelief, his voice dripping with confusion and hurt. There was no anger in his lyrics, but it was in his very being. He had never been more angry and disappointed in his life. "I trusted you. I trusted you and you threw it in my face. Just stay away from me. Leave me alone. I never wanted this, I never wanted any of this. But I've never complained...never. I've done my own things, yes, and you might not agree. But whenever you asked me to stand by you, I have. Except for this...Coralie is different, and I'm sorry. I'm really sorry but I can't choose who to love. It's not that easy. And that...in there...I can't choose who to trust, but I know I can't trust you any longer. I don't know what else you want from me? But I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to even be near you. Just please, please leave me alone until you can explain what that was." He finished in pain, and then turned on his heel to walk away once more. He couldn't believe this.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caith let his son brush past him. The anger and pain Blayce felt made him grimace at himself. Okay so he had made a mistake, but how could he ever introduce Sinead to Blayce and the rest of the coven when he was so increasingly jealous of her attention. He needed her like humans needed oxygen. Like Vampires needed blood. Maybe this was the reason he wanted to keep her a monster. He hadn't trained her. He didn't want to train her so he could keep her hidden. He wanted to stay with her and only her.
But in doing such he had known someday soon someone would find out. Sinead had always been curious about the school. She had always wanted to sneak into it and look at what Caith was protecting so fiercely. He had just hoped that it would not have been Blayce who had stumbled upon him and Sinead. He had hoped to break it to Blayce in a softer way. More gently then just rubbing it in his face. Caith dropped his head as Blayce walked away then suddenly turned around and finally screamed back at him.
He bit into his bottom lip and listened to his son scream at him. The Sire knew Blayce needed to get his steam out. It was better that he was Blayce's punch bag then any of the students. Both him and Blayce loved the students in the school. Each one of those students were important and that was why Caith wanted his son to rule the school. They had the same desires and interests in the students and school. Caith slowly turned to face Blayce then glanced over his shoulder when his son pointed to it.
He sighed heavily and darted his eyes to the side and into the forest. Oh God. Blayce was lucky that he hadn't been turned by Elias. Elias would have had him broken and crawling on the ground by now. Caith wrinkled his nose in disgust as Blayce said he couldn't help who he loved. But Coralie....? Human? Ugh! This was his son. He had to have more taste then that. When Blayce had finished talking and turned around to walk away again Caith reached for wards to grab his wrist gripping at his wrist hard so he wouldn't be able to leave.
"Lets talk then... Let me explain then. You want one. I'll give you one." Caith moved so he was beside Blayce then reached out and stroked his cheek. His gorgeous son. No wonder Coralie loved him. He just could not explain why he felt the same about her. "I had a life before the school Blayce. She was that life and she still is my life. She's not a That. Use it to refer to her again and my anger will not be held in check. Her name is Sinead and I rescued her as a human girl when Napoleon invaded Egypt in the 1800s. She traveled with me and my Sire for two years as a human before I changed her. She is my first fledgling."
Caith let out a heavy sigh as he looked into Blayce's face watching it intently for any reaction to his words. "I didn't tell the coven about her because she is still wild and still locked in her own life. She'd kill for sure and the coven would want to put her to death. Tell me even you wouldn't if she touched your precious Coralie? I can't loose her. I can't lose you. You're my second. My first son. Loving Coralie is not who you are now. Its a human instinct you will get rid of in time and then what? She'll be in too deep and you'll kill her. Thats what will happen. I am telling you the truth now Blayce. You are a killer. I fell in love with you and I wanted you as my child. The first time I ever saw you I fell in love. I need you and I need Sinead...."

He finished quietly, and then a new thought formed within his mind. He could escape this. Looking to Caith, he brought his eyes to his sire's. He wouldn't cry because that was weak, but it was obvious he was upset as he spoke. "You gave me this life. Take it away. Please...I'd rather be dead than live what I'm living now. I won't be a bother to you, and I won't be a bother to whoever you are trying to fight or win against. It'll be easier for you. No more rebellion from me...no more worry that I love a human and I'll betray you. You won't have to be ashamed of me any longer. Just do it, and get it over with. You know you want to." He finally said quietly, waiting for his sire's words. He was doing all he could now not to lose himself, and not to get upset. But it wasn't working as well as he would have hoped.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caith looked deeper into Blayce's face. Hungry. He was hungry. No... Thats damned woman. How could she do this to him? Coralie didn't pay attention. Any feeder who had been seduced into being a feeder by a vampire would have paid attention to this. His son was weak and she hadn't even offered. He felt like he would scream soon. That or he'd attack her the next time he saw her. If she cared so much for him why didn't she look after him? Caith fell silent when his son spoke of letting Coralie go. It must have hurt Blayce very very much.
Infact he could hear it in his voice. His eyes dropped to Blayce's hand as he tried aimlessly to pull it from Caith's grip. His son was so weak and it shocked Caith into a sort of horror. He could do nothing but stare. His dearest fledgling was giving up. He would drop into a stasis soon if he got any weaker. Caith was about to give Blayce everything if he asked for it. He knew Blayce wouldn't drink from him. Caith's eyes glanced around the forest. If he could not force Blayce to drink from him maybe he could be fast enough to go and catch an animal.
But he was frightened to leave Blayce alone. He was too nervous to let his son go. It would be like suicide if he lost either Cassie, Sinead or Blayce. Mostly Blayce cause it was his only son. He'd wanted a son so bad and then when Blayce joined the school he had wasted no time in affiliating this little fledgling with him. Love... This was love. True and in its purest form. He loved Blayce as he loved Sin. He didn't think he could bare it if he lost either. Caiths head snapped back to Blayce when he heard his words.
His eyes turned fiery with anger and before he could stop himself he punched Blayce though the face letting go of him instantly. "Don't you dare EVER ask me that again. You are a coward. Weakling! I can't believe you let that stupid blonde whore do that to you. Look at you! You're a mess! I won't let this go on any longer." Caith turned sharply to school again. He knew Coralie would be in her bed.
"I'll make her death quick and painless. If you wanna die for her Blayce... She'll die for you..." Caith hissed over his shoulder as he walked back calmly now. He prayed for this to work. He knew it would have some response. He just hoped it was the right one. If Blayce had made himself this weak for her surely he was willing to save her from the fate Caith had mentioned just now.
Keeping his son fighting was keeping him alive. It was the only thing Blayce was thriving on. The instincts to fight. If it was against Caith then so be it but atleast it was keeping him alive. If Blayce stopped fighting he would die.

His voice was filled with compassion and sorrow, and he grasped his father's hand after a moment, trying to convince him to stay here instead. He needed him now. Blayce was fading quickly, and he needed his father to keep him strong. He was going through his worst moment in his life, and it was obvious he was sorry about it. But before long, he couldn't keep himself upright any longer. His knees shook violently from his weight, and he collapsed immediately, falling to his knees upon the ground. He was even colder than he should be, and his body started shaking as well. He looked up to his father with sorrow filled eyes and wondered if he could ever be forgiven. "I'm sorry I asked you that. I'm so sorry I've disappointed and shamed you. I'm trying to stop loving her, but it's harder than I ever thought possible. I still love her, I do, and I don't think I'll ever stop. But for the good of Coralie, and for the good of the coven, and for you...I swear I'll try. I'm sorry." He finished broken heartedly, and then dropped his hand from Caith's. He was doing all that he could to remain upright at this point in time, but he needed blood, and he needed it fast. At this point, he might not have a choice. He might have to drink from Caith if another source couldn't be found, just to keep himself alive. It would bond him to his father even more, but that could be a good thing. He could become the son his father always wanted, even though it would break him inside. But in another moment, he swayed dangerously to the side, and was soon in the snow, his cheek pressed against the frozen ground. He whispered words to his father, not wanting the vampire to see him like this. "I was stupid...I am stupid. Please forgive me for doing this to you. I'll be better, I'll obey you." A moment of weakness yes, but he was getting emotionally stronger. He was physically strong when he was healthy, and he deserved more credit than Caith would give him. He would never break if he came across Elias. Even though he didn't get along with Caith that often, he would never betray him in this fashion. He didn't trust him as much as he did before, but he was broken now, and fading. He didn't have the strength to stop it, and he was ashamed of himself. He knew his father was even more ashamed, and he would never be able to make that up. Never.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caith stopped when he felt Blayce's weak grip on his sleeve. He wanted to turn around and wrap his arms around his fledgling. The Sire didn't believe he could ever even touch Coralie seeing his son so completely broken up about her. He felt his cold heart break into a thousand pieces when he heard Blayce's words. Jealousy... Thats what was breaking his heart appart. It was one of two reasons. The fact that Blayce had found someone to love which in itself was a rediculous thing for Caith to be jealous about.
Elias had taught him that love sucked. Love was something humans invented. It didn't exist in the world they were in yet the first time he even tasted Ash he was high. It was not just her blood. It was the sound of her beating heart. The touch of her skin. Her face. Her eyes. His son would laugh at him if he told Blayce this. Not now of course. Now his son was weak. His son had been overly confident in his strength and power and now look what had happened. Caith suddenly gripped at his son's hand and twisted round as Blayce fell to his knees.
Caith feel down beside Blayce and moved to gathers his son in his arms. He soundlessly brought his wrist to his lips and opened to wound he had fed Sinead with on his wrist then brought it to Blayce's mouth to let the blood flow into his son's lips. He pressed his lips against Blayce's forehead gently then lay his cheek against his son's forehead. "Please drink... Please. I'll let you do what ever you want if you drink. Don't leave me Blayce. Please just drink from me. "
He begged softly as he lowered his wrist to Blayce's lips pressing it against his mouth praying for him to bite in and drink. Praying to feel the pull that would send a rush of heat across his body and down his spine. His whole body was tense as he waited. "Blayce I love you. If it makes you happy you can have her. I don't care anymore. All I care for is keeping you and Sinead happy and safe. I can't live without you and her. I can't. You can't want me to. I've got you now. I'm here. You're safe...."
Those exact words he had whispered to Blayce before. When he had changed him. He had whispered those words when he had made. He had held Blayce like this. He had offered his wrist like now and then he had whispered those words. He had Blayce. He would always catch him. He would always be there. He was safe from the world in Caith's arms. Nothing would hurt Blayce unless Caith wanted it to. Unless Blayce needed to be taught a lesson but tonight nothing mattered but keeping him close and keeping him alive.
"You're not a disappointment to me little one. You're just untrained. I have been neglecting you. I will teach you. I will show you how to play tactics and how to fight your battles whether you pick them or not. I won't leave you.... Ever. You can have Cora. You can have her and I won't stop you any more. I swear. Live for me and stay with me. I need you..." He whispered his words like a soft lullaby to his son.

He whispered into the form of his father, feeling his strength beginning to build quietly within him. As it did, he started to come to, and was soon sitting upright in his embarrassment, releasing his father's shirt and looking down to the snowy ground. His anger returned, and his eyes flashed crimson. Why was he still so angry? He was hurt and betrayed, but his father had saved his life. Still, he turned those eyes to his father. "How long did you plan on keeping her hidden?" It seemed that with his strength, his defiance and rebellious nature had returned. He waited now, his breathing still heavy from his drink. He didn't know what Caith would say. "And who is Elias? You said you weren't him...what is going on? Are you going to be honest or not?" He felt himself growing worked up again, and he scooted away from his father, watching him for a moment until he was given the truth.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caith gave a soft moan when finally Blayce started to drink. He gasped at his son's fangs slipping into his flesh. "Yes... Thats right.. Live for me." He whispered into Blayce's ear. His golden eyes slowly drifted closed and slowly he turned his head again so his forehead was against Blayces again. He pulled the boy closer to him. His precious son. Never would he have survived loosing him.
The best form of suicide would have been moving to meet Elias head of and falling at his feet then saying that he prefered the cattle over him. That would have made a little impact and he would have been killed. He wouldn't have fought death. He would have yeilded to death. It would have been easy to do because with Blayce and Sinead he would have died. He would never have been able to take it. Caith felt himself weaken. Feeding two of him children had to take alot out of him.
His breathing became more and more shallow. He never was good at breathing anyway. Her had kicked the habit about a hundred years earlier. But now that he could feel the slight ache in his heart he was gasping a bit. It was possibly reflex. It was his body attempting to get oxygen in case the heart needed it but then again his heart never beat unless he drank. Caith moaned again letting his son take what he needed. The feeling felt so good that he couldn't really pull back.
He didn't want Blayce to stop. The shiver of heat, then feeling of pleasure and euphoria in his mind. It was an addictive feeling. It was deadly to most vampires. It was deadly if he couldn't trust the drinker cause he was addicted to it himself. This being only the second time Blayce had taken from him he wondered if the boy knew that he could kill him. He wondered if his fledgling would ever kill him. When Blayce finally pulled away he had to stop himself from sighing with relieve.
His son clung to him suddenly and he frowned down. Oh God it felt good. Blayce needing him felt surreal. It was surreal and he knew that it would end. He'd have to enjoy it while he could. He slowly wrapped his arms around Blayce and kissed along his brow gently. "Sorry... shouldn't exist between us, my little one." His voice was a low whisper against Blayce's brow. His hand brushed across Blayces and her brushed away the excess blood gently.
Sinead was always the messy one. This was what he did for her. Not Blayce. He smiled softly in contentment down at his son. He was in heaven... This was his heaven. Who cared for blood or humans or even love? This was far more important. Watching the child you created need you as much as you needed them. Caith would give what ever it took to keep his precious children happy. All too soon it came to an end. He closed his eyes in pain as he released Blayce allowing him to sit upright.
He forced himself not to wrap his arms around Blayce again pulling him close so instead he folded them across his chest. Caith heard his son's words and winced. He made his face emotionless as he turned it back to Blayce. What was before would never happen again. It was lost in a dream in Caith's mind Blayce was angry and rebelious. That was just what Blayce was and it was stupid of Caith to want anything else. To even desire what he had just had. For one day... just one day he wished Blayce could take Sinead's place.
They could go hunting. Clean the streets of whores and drug dealers and drug users. Watch the students when they were walking ungaurded and thinking no one was watching them. He would fly with Blayce in his arms and take him to the talest building where they'd talk of they're pasts. What they remembered, what they missed... just like he was doing with Sinead. But Blayce was not Sinead. Caith was not even gonna attempt to get to his feet. It would be useless. He was a bit too weakened at the moment.
Blayce would get angry soon and storm away then he could call Sin to his side and ask for her help. She'd seen him weak before. She knew what to do and how to aid him. He imagined her in the dark depths trembling with eagerness to come to his side. He sighed and let his eyes lock on Blayce. "I was going to keep her hidden as long as I could, child. I know what the coven is like. She'd never have been accepted. She's too ... good at killing."
He dropped his eyes. The topic he hated to talk about. Elias.... "Elias is my Sire. He believed in humans being like cattle. You could pick them up. Drink them dry, then discard the body. Me and Sinead lived beside him like this for as long as I can remember. He was a fierce Sire who would deny us food for a week making us as weak as you are now if we were to disobey him. Because of our live we had to move around constantly. I got weary and I wanted more. I asked Sinead to come with me and we left. We ran far away from him till we found Hallbrook but Sinead was finding it difficult to fight her addiction to killing. I bought her a house in the forest where I kept her. I took her hunting every night then locked her away again during the day. I was the only one with keys to the house. Somehow she escaped. Now she's here. She said that Elias is on his way."
He dropped his eyes and frowned deeply. "Elias is trying to get to her and me. He'd do anything to do so. Its like a chess game to him and me and Sinead are the king and queen. He wants to knock us down and make us crumble. He'd use what ever he could. Even Cora..." His eyes flicked back to Blayce. "This is why I told you to say away from her but now... She's yours. Do with it as you wished. You're living for me so I am keeping my promise. You win. She's all yours."

His loyalty was becoming more and more obvious as the time passed between them now, and he hoped his sire would pick up on that. He was betrayed himself by the one he thought he could trust the most, but he wouldn't return that favor. He would be honest, and he would be loyal. He wouldn't do anything on purpose to betray him. As Caith went on to talk about Elias, Blayce felt a feeling travel up and down his spine. Caith seemed afraid when he spoke of Elias, and it made Blayce furrow his brow. Shaking his head quietly, he looked to him when he mentioned Elias would use Cora. His head snapped up, and his eyes flashed red with anger. "I need to make sure she's safe. I told you I was giving up on her, and I am. I don't want to do anything to hurt her, or you father. I am in this fight with you, I promise you. Teach me the way you want me to be, and I swear I'll try my hardest to be what you've always wanted me to be. There will be times when I will want her, I know that, but I have to make her understand. Elias will not get to you through me because of my love for her. Let me help you. I know we haven't always agreed on things before, and I am sorry, but things are different this time. Let me help you, and let me help Sinead. You gave your strength for me now, let me take you back to the foyer, and maybe then I can meet Sinead the proper way. Come on...father." He finished quietly and raised himself up to his feet. He wasn't as strong as he should be at this point, but he was stronger than Caith. He approached him, offering his shoulder to help him up. Blayce wouldn't let him fall. He'd bring him back to the foyer. Once Caith stood, he started helping him back to the foyer. Things were changing, that much was for certain.[/ul][/blockquote]

Caith lifted his eyes as Blayce promised not to betray him. He wanted to boy to leave now. He needed Sinead now more than anything and she too was trembling in her anticipation to come to his aid. He wouldn't be surprised if she came dragging a mountain lion or deer behind her. They were so closely linked to one another that feelings were apparent before words were needed. Caith narrowed his eyes at Blayce.
"You talk about Sinead and that punch I gave you earlier will seem like praise." He warned his son softly. His eyes were dull now and he was feeling slightly weakened. Not that he would show his son that. They were so incredibly similar in so many many ways. With that thought Caith tilted his head to the side and admired his son for a moment. Thats what had attracted him to Blayce. He was sure of it. He mimiced Blayce's facial features and furrowed his own brow when he heard what Blayce had to say to him.
The child had turned three sixty in a matter of minutes and it was confussing Caith. What happened to his son. The one he was use to. Blayce was flipping up and down like a yo yo. What in heavens name was making him so obedient all of a sudden? Caith tightened his jaw and turned his head away from Blayce. "Go to your little human girl Blayce. I was simply warning you. I will teach you what you need to know to be strong for her but her? I will never protect but I guess I could accept her if you were ever to change your mind. "
Caith's softened eyes lifted to his son and finally he got to his feet and with his son's help he made it back to the foyer. When finally inside he searched the darkened corners for Sinead calling to her. He was leaning on his son way to much. It made him feel guilty. This was no way for a Sire to behave. This was no way for Elias's child to behave. Sinead was infront of them instantly holding up two wiggling rabbits by their ears. Caith gave her a disappointed look.
"I told you to stay here. " She smirked proudly and let her eyes drift to Blayce glancing down him for a moment before she let her eyes focus on Caith again. "I did! Some younger vampire came in with them and... lost them. No one saw me. Its okay..." She held out the rabbits to him and slowly took one by the scruff before pulling away from Blayce finally.
Sinead's eyes shifted to Blayce once again before she dropped her head and lowered herself on one knee infront of him. Caith brought the rabbit to his lips and started to feed hungrily watching the interaction between Sinead and Blayce. She had been taught well in the ethnics of vampires. He didn't know if that made her worse to the coven or better.
"It is an honour to finally make your aquintance Blayce. I have heard so much about you and Cassandra and finally I meet you." The young dancer spoke in a hush keeping her head down in respect for the other vampire that Caith had spoken so tenderly of. The thing she remembered the most that he was thinly wired and easily angered. She doubted that she would ever be the cause of Blayce's anger. She was so often the cause of Caith's but she had learned it was because he was either hiding from the true or protecting her.
Tonight he was hidding. Elias was coming. He could feel it just as well as she could but he still refused to believe it. This was the fledgling that had fallen for a human. She still had to confess her love for Michael to Caith. She was sure he was just unhappy that his son had found love instead of him. She hadn't remembered a time when Elias and Caith had not loved one another. She was sure they still did and even though she was jealous of the fact before she met Michael she still felt that love could exist between a Vampire and a Human.
Blayce had someone on his side now. Even when it seemed that Caith wasn't listening he came around after a while. He would come round soon enough.

He bit his tongue a moment too late, but the damage was already done. He'd probably recieve a hit for that, but he was stronger this time. He'd dodge it or fight back this time. He wasn't being as obediant as he possibly could be, and that much was obvious. He was fighting with himself now, trying his best not to snap back in anger to everything his father spoke. Shaking his head now, he listened to what he was saying, knowing that his sire was more than confused by his behavior. He was trying here, but he wasn't getting any thanks in return. It bothered him, to say the least. Sighing now, he just turned a deaf ear to what Caith was saying, but realized that he was given permission to be with Cora. His eyes widened after a moment, and then the anger came. It was fast, and it was furious. He still supported his sire because he wouldn't let him down like that, but as they stepped in the foyer, his fangs slipped forward for the second time this evening, and he stepped away from Caith, and away from Sinead as she appeared from the shadows. "I am trying here. I'm trying to be the vampire you've always wanted me to be. I'm trying to be more like you want to make you happy. I'm trying to show you that I'm here to help you against him. But here you are mocking me. Why is it that every time I try to be nice and obediant, you throw it in my face? I can't win this..I never have been able to. Everything I do is wrong, and everything I am is a lie." He spoke viciously, not caring that Sinead was witness to this. He had had enough. He had tried the nice route for a moment, but it had backfired in his face. The old familiar fighting Blayce was coming through. It seemed his father's blood had strengthened him far quicker than any animal's would. And it could be bad for all of them. He stepped back quickly, keeping one eye on Sinead in case, and the other on Caith. He clenched his fists, and his eyes took on a look of warning to them both. A warning to keep away from him. They could have their little love affair in here. He wouldn't complain. He didn't want what they had. But was it so much to have his father's love and attention for one moment? Why was Caith so intent on confusing him? As Caith reached out for the rabbit, Blayce stepped back once more. His frustration was getting the best of him again. This night was taking its toll on him. "I should be able to make these decisions by myself Caith! You...you are always ordering, and always asking for more. When I think I do something right, you have something bad to say about it. When I do something wrong, everyone has to stop and look at me...you make an example out of every little thing I do. And I'm tired of it. Give me some credit once in a while, why don't you? I'm tired of trying for you. I'm tired of trying to be nice, and trying to be the one you want to be. If I want to love Cora, then I will. I don't need your permission, and your agreement. This is my life. It was my life before you took it away from me. Why don't you take the rest of everything I've ever wanted? It'd be easier for us all, wouldn't it?" He snarled viciously. It was a night for him to vent his anger and frustration, and it was obvious that he was at his wit's end. Shaking his head, he looked down in disgust at Sinead. Why was she bowing to him? He lightened his features immediately though, knowing that she wasn't at fault. He just stared at her for a moment, almost dumbstruck at what she was saying to him. Caith had the nerve to tell her everything about him, but he had only found out tonight about her? Rage ripped through him now, and it was even worse now that his strength had returned. "You...you are something aren't you? What gives you the right to tell her everything about me, and Cassie? And yet we know nothing about her! When are you going to tell Cassie? She deserves to know! This isn't right..this isn't fair. You're a liar through and through. You take and you take, and we give, and we give. Yet we get nothing in return. Well I'm finished. I may have tried to be obediant a moment ago, but I'm sorry I ever was. Enjoy your life with Sinead. It was great meeting you too." He finished furiously, directing his last comment towards Sinead. He gave her a small, apologetic look, and then turned on his heel. "You only want me gone, so I'm granting you that. You won't ever be bothered by me again Caith." He snarled. He would make good on his words, for that was a promise. And he never broke his promises. Before he left for good, he turned and made eye contact with his sire. "I hate you. I wish you would have just left me alone. I wish I was still a human so that I could be normal, and not hated by everyone. I hate you for lying, and I hate you for never being here. I was never good enough for you, and I realize that now. Find some other kid to be your greatest disappointment. I'm not coming back. I'm tired of you constantly putting me and everything I do down. You have your favorite, have fun. You'll enjoy your life now that I'm no longer apart of it. Just stay away from me." He snapped viciously, and then turned on his heel. He was out of here, and he wasn't coming back. This place had ruined him. Well he'd show Caith. If Caith could abandon his sire, than Blayce would as well. He was tired of being under that rule...it was suffocating and breaking him. He would not be broken by the likes of Caith.[/ul][/blockquote]

In the dark shadows lurking around the school and unnoticed by his own fledgling because his fledgling was being a stubborn little dick stood the dragon. The dark smirk that never left his face was again locked there as he watched Blayce help his sire towards the coven's home. They disappeared and Elias was left to work out a strategy. This little fledgling of Caith was just too predictable. He'd run again and then he'd have to deal with Elias. Even if Caith had just warned him he knew with enough seduction behind his words he could twist this child.
All the Dragon had to do was wait. Time... meant nothing to him so he could wait. He just needed to be patient. When you'd been around for 1800 years patience's was like breathing. He sighed and turned away from the pare to lean against the tree he had been hiding behind.
~~~
Caith's eye snapped closed in annoyance as Blayce started again. He was yet again snapping and bitting and getting worked up so another fight would proceed. Caith was too exhausted to fight with his son right now. Could Blayce not see that? He had just nearly killed himself for his son and here he was screaming and picking anothing fight. Caith had let the comment about Sin pass when they were making their way here but he was getting really really annoyed with Blayce now.
Sinead looked worriedly from Caith to Blayce. She could see the anger seer in his body and could tell that Caith was tensing up. Blayce was obviously a little self concious and felt completely worthless around Caith as did Sin but Blayce was a male and they never handled things like that well. She frowned deeply at Blayce her eyes screaming out 'Please be quiet' but Blayce just kept going on and on and on. Caith winced at the words. He had taken his son's live away. He pulled back from the now lifeless rabbit and lifted his eyes to Blayce.
They were obviously hurt. That had cut deep. Sinead pulled the still live rabbit against her chest and held it like a pet dog as Blayce went on to accuse Caith off telling her everything about them. Tears filled her eyes. She had made Caith's already fragile relationship with his son even worse. She nuzzled into the rabbits brown fur then winced when Blayce said his goodbye's and told Caith to enjoy his life with her. Her tearfilled eyes flicked to Caith and she frowned deeply. Caith simply smirked.
He knew his son would come back. Now that he was strong again and safe with Caith's blood running though him Blayce could run. He'd be back by the morning. "Run again Blayce! I won't follow this time..." His teeth grinded together. Stupid little bastard child. How could he do this to his sire? Worthless little fledgling. He watched Blayce run out the door.
"Don't bother coming back if you hate me so much!!!" Caith's hands crushed the little rabbit body between his hands. Sin started towards the door to run after Blayce but Caith moved infront of her quickly blocking her way. He ripped the tiny rabbit she was cuddling from his arms. Her face was tear stained and a flesh wave of blood tears ran over her cheeks when she watched Caith bite viciously into the rabbits neck. She lifted her hands to cover her face.
~~~
Elias tilted his head up and sniffed at the air then turned his head towards the coven's head quatres watching the boy exit. His smirk grew wild and he followed the boy with his eyes waiting for him to move deeper into the forest so Elias could corner him. Elias followed slowly behind Blayce quickening his steps so he could catch the boys shoulder and spin him around. He faked a look of surprise.
"You smell like him! John... " He let his dark eyes narrow on Blayce. Man the boy was good looking. Stopping himself from kissing Blayce was incredibly hard. He wanted to taste Caith on the boy's lips. It made Elias bite his tongue. "He took my love away from me. He turned her into what we are now... Monsters. I wanted to keep her human. You gotta help me. You gotta tell me where he is...." Elias's voice filled with panic and pain and he made it show in his eyes.
